Why

The source of inspiration for the exhibition is the conversations with the young woman who appears as a model in the pictures, whose life is full of joy, positivity and opportunities, all doors still open. We wanted to show that you can be anything you want.

Let's do things that bring us joy and enjoy small, even silly things. Let's tinker, try, feel. I deliberately made the pictures look like very serious image manipulation was used, it is not. Basically, when editing, I used craft-like methods: I printed my photos and pulled them from the scanner, waving them around and creating a surreal atmosphere. I dragged things with my finger (smudge) in Photoshop to make things flow, etc. Everything that is done physically or with assistance (photoshop) with my own hands.

So I did a huge amount of manual work for the pictures. I wanted the image to be not only polished, sharp and fresh, but also blurry, strange and even distorted. Like people.
